Quetta: During an operation, the Anti-Narcotics Force foiled a drug smuggling attempt from Balochistan by recovering hundreds of kilos of hashish from a truck.

In 6 different anti-narcotics operations of ANF in Balochistan, 5 suspects were arrested after recovering large quantities of drugs.

According to the spokesman of the Anti-Narcotics Force, 3 accused residents of Quetta were arrested after recovering 400 kg of hashish from a truck near Yaro Railway Crossing in Pishin.

According to ANF spokesman, the suspects were trying to smuggle drugs from Gulistan into Sindh. On identifying the arrested suspects,

a raid was conducted on a flat located on Mir Ahmad Road in Quetta, from where 40 kg of hashish was recovered and the suspect, a resident of Quetta, was arrested. was arrested.

On the other hand, during an operation on Pak-Afghan border Chaman, 2 kg 290 grams of suspicious material was recovered from the accused.

The accused, a resident of Chaman, was trying to go to Afghanistan from Pakistan. 68 liters of hydrochloric acid, 17 kg of hashish and 60 kg of opium were recovered from Chaman, Panjgur and Nokundi respectively.

The recovered drugs were stored in an uninhabited area for smuggling abroad. ANF has started investigation by registering cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested accused in all the operations.
