A New Zealand pizza restaurant is giving customers an unusual offer to buy now and pay after you die.
Restaurant Hell Pizza has announced that its ‘Afterlife Pay’ promotion is inspired by the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ schemes adopted by a number of New Zealand businesses.
Ben Cummings, CEO of Hell Pizza, said on the company’s website: “We are seeing a lot of people using the schemes to buy essential items like food, but our offer of buy now and die Pay is unique to all schemes.
The pizza restaurant said 666 customers from New Zealand and another 666 from Australia would be selected for the Afterlife Pay program, after which they would be entitled to delay payment until they could purchase a pizza. Get corrected.
Those selected will sign an agreement as a testament to the cost of their pizza after they die, the restaurant said. No interest or taxes will be applicable and the contract will be executed legally.
