London: India left the wreckage of the test championship final defeat at the hands of Australia on the wicket of the Oval.
Indian team captain Rohit Sharma also said that this final could have happened in March as well, why was it waited until June, fast bowler Mohammad Shami also expressed similar views.

He said that the Oval’s track was not fully prepared for this kind of game. Before him, another Indian pacer, Shirdal Thakur, had also expressed his concerns about the Oval’s pitch.
Shami said that wickets in Test matches get slower with time but I think this wicket was not fully ready for the World Test Championship but was changing day by day.
